When you're looking for a minivan, Honda's Odyssey is one of the best options on the market. It has spacious interiors, lots of cargo space and is a great ride. It is also among the most secure in its class. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave Odyssey a Top Safety Pick Plus rating.

The Honda Odyssey comes with four trims: EX and EX-L, as well as Touring and Elite. Higher trims come with features such an 8.0 inch touchscreen infotainment system and Apple CarPlay. The Odyssey models at the lower end are adequate for most buyers.

The Odyssey features a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 280 horsepower. It is paired with a 10-speed manual transmission. It is capable of keeping up with highway traffic even though it is slower than some rivals. The Odyssey is able to achieve 22 mpg combined.

Honda has introduced two new transmissions for the Odyssey. In the lower models, a nine-speed transmission is standard. A ten-speed option is also available. Both are available for Sport grades. You get 19-inch alloy wheels, black leather seats, and contrast stitching with red. Rear-seat entertainment screens will also be available with integrated streaming apps.

If you are looking for more space in your Odyssey, the Sport trims and Touring trims both include the Magic Slide seat in the second row. This seat slides forward to allow easy access into the third row. Also included are power-sliding rear doors and remote start.

The Honda Odyssey's interior is quiet, spacious, and comfortable. The Honda Odyssey is equipped with many sensors. It has blind-spot, lane-departure, rear cross-traffic alert system and active lane control. There are even smart storage areas in the doors and consoles.

The Odyssey, despite its compact size provides ample legroom to its eight-passenger seating. It's also very low to ground. The Honda Odyssey has two inches more legroom back than the Chrysler Pacifica.

Honda's Sensing Package is also available for the Odyssey. This includes active lane control, adaptive cruise control, and forward collision warning with automatic braking. The HondaLink app can also be used for models with higher trim levels.

Other features of the 2023 Honda Odyssey include USB ports as well as a complimentary scheduled service plan and an 8 inch touchscreen. Although the LX was discontinued, the Odysseys of the 2023 model year have a Sport variant.

beauty buzz

The design of the Odyssey is a mix of modern and classic. Although the interior isn't quite as sleek as some other minivans, it's still well-designed.

Honda offers a three-year/36,000-mile limited warranty and five-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty for the Odyssey. These warranties are comparable to those offered by most competitors. However, the company has been known extend its warranty for up to eight years and unlimited miles.

Overall, the Honda Odyssey is a great minivan for families. It's safe, quiet, and spacious. But some drivers might find the interior a bit dull.
